CHRISTIANS HAVE THE LIGHT

WHEN NOTHING IS TRUE or ABSOLUTE, EVERYTHING IS PERMITTED. This world, which frowns on anyone insisting on absolute truth, has in its prejudice against truth, made every lie a potential truth. The only absolute, according to the world, is 'there is no absolute.’ THIS WORLD PROMOTES THE SEARCH FOR TRUTH, AND YET DERIDES AND SCOFFS AT ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO HAVE FOUND IT! The wisest amongst us, it would appear, are not the ones who have the truth but those who are still involved in some mystical  search for it. According to John in 1 John 2, Christians are those who have the truth, who know the truth. So from this we see that the truth is a tangible thing, it is an absolute thing. Truth is revealed by God to His people. They are meant to believe it, therefore know it. We were not intended to wander in the dark bumping into that which we know not. Christians have the Light of God shining upon them and in them, and are now the believers of truth. So do not shy away from telling anyone that you have the truth, that you know what the truth is, for being saved means having had the truth revealed and been given the faith to believe it.
