THE FALSE GOSPEL

In a world of lies, nothing is more dangerous than the truth, for truth is the natural enemy of all lies. The truth and the lie are sworn enemies. Truth is the one thing that Satan stops at nothing to distort, destroy, or to make his own. You see, where Satan cannot distort the truth so that it becomes contradictory, he tries to destroy it, to so distort it that hardly any truth remains. But the Devil’s most subtle work, his most deceptive work, lies in the false gospel. The false gospel does not purport to tell a lie, it does not come out overtly attacking God, but shows itself as a revealer of God, a friend and promoter of God. The false gospel is the ultimate wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is loved and embraced by the majority of people who consider themselves spiritually minded. They are the deluded ones who believe a lie to be the truth and the truth to be a lie. They believe in a false god, who they hold to be the True, whilst unknowingly recognizing the True God as a false god. The Truth of God is the Light of God, and just as darkness dissipates when the light is shone, so too, lies about God, false teachings about God in the form of a false gospel, are revealed for what they are when the Light of the glorious Gospel shines in a man’s heart. The Devil flees, and the false gospel can do nothing to combat the Light of the Truth when it comes. The lies one held to whilst a believer in a false gospel flee like the darkness when the truth, the light, enters a man’s life. Life in this world is all about truth and lies, and we all act upon what we believe, we are guided by what we believe, whether it be truth or lies, and there are consequences to everything we believe. When it comes to believing the Gospel and believing a false gospel, the consequences are eternal.
