Grace and peace to all who love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity and in truth, and who believe and rejoice in His name according to the Scriptures. We trust you are well, and that you continue to believe, judge by, and have great joy in, God’s one and only Gospel which alone contains His Testimony  that must be believed in, of the Person and Work of His dear Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

 

The following is from my latest book, ‘For God So Loved…WHO?’:

 

Simply because there are many who have opposing views to what the actual truth is,  cannot alter the fact that truth is truth except in the minds of those who cannot see it, or who are heavily biased against it preferring the truth to be something other than what it is. Alternate views are not always legitimate, particularly when they contradict the truth. They are simply wrong views. Anything not in line with truth cannot be true. Simply because one has a thought, and has expressed that thought by way of a perfectly constructed sentence, does not automatically, let alone legitimately, mean it is of any value other than to the one whose thinking produced it. The apostle Paul did not declare those to whom the Gospel of God was hidden, correct in their contradictory beliefs, and, therefore, saved, but promptly pronounced all such people as lost who did not believe the truth, whose thoughts were not conformed to the reality of God’s Word: “But if our Gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost” (2 Cor. 4:3). Now, of course, the lost do not believe themselves to be lost, for they believe what they believe to be truth. But, has what they sincerely, and wholeheartedly, believe become truth simply because they believe it? Does what they believe reflect some degree of legitimacy based on the fact they believe it? Certainly not. Do those who believe in error believe it because it is wrong? Not at all, for if they knew it was wrong they would no longer believe it. Nevertheless, reality, and the consequences of not conforming to it, remains as inflexible as ever. If there is truth, then there is right and wrong. If there is a true Gospel, if God has a Gospel, then one is either right or wrong in what they believe it to be. Those who do not believe the truth are not right, but wrong. Those who will not accept reality, and conform their lives to it, are not right, but wrong. Whilst they are not necessarily bad people, they are, according to reality, very, very wrong. Truth, and the fact that it is truth, remains unaffected by those who do not believe it. Truth cannot be perverted except in the minds of those who do not believe it. Man can have his perverted ideas of truth, but none can ever change truth by causing it to become something other than what it is.                                                                                                              ■

This section of the website contains various quotes from my writings, and I pray it will be a blessing to you. The second is called Newsletter, and contains editions of the Ministry’s Newsletter from March, 2017 onwards.

 

*        My latest book, ‘For God So Loved…WHO? is now available in paperback. You may obtain a copy at any amazon online store, ebay or, from several other online book sellers. If you would like a copy, but cannot afford one please let me know and I will be happy to send you a copy of it, or any one of my other books, with my compliments. I would like to remind all that this ministry is totally non-profit. No monies are received from the sale of my books.

 

*        You may have noticed a ‘Donate’ link on the home page of the website. I need to mention that no donations have yet been received. I have had some donations in the past, but all have now ceased, and this ministry currently receives no donations at all. Beginning with this issue of the Newsletter, I will be noting any amounts donated for each 10 week period between Newsletters.

 

*        In an effort to get the website seen by more people, I have decided to open some social media accounts. Through the invaluable help of my son, God’s Only Gospel now has pages on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. The response has been most encouraging with a surge of people visiting both the Website and YouTube channel. Each post, tweet, etc., contains quotes from my writings.

 

 

The following excerpts are all taken from my book: ‘Faith to Believe What?’:

 

The purpose for which faith is given by God is that His Gospel, His truth, be believed and that all erroneous concepts of it be expelled from one’s mind and heart forever!

 

Man is only saved by the faith that is of Christ and looks ONLY to Christ, and only the new creature possesses it!

 

To be saved means that one is no longer ignorant of the truth, that one has been converted from ignorance to right saving knowledge of God by the hearing of the Gospel of God, for one has been given the faith that believes that Gospel and that removes and abolishes ALL ignorance of it!

 

Salvation is not retrospective. It does not begin—become effective or operative—from the moment you became religious, during which time you adhered to erroneous doctrines which spoke lies about the God of grace, BUT FROM THE MOMENT YOU CEASED to believe in a false gospel and BEGAN to believe in the true Gospel of God!!

 

 

TO TRULY BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL OF GOD IS TO ONLY BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL OF GOD

The following excepts are taken from my book: ‘The Doctrines of the Gospel of the Grace of God’:

 

If God had to do it TO save, you must believe it to BE saved, and, therefore, it must be in the Gospel THAT saves!!!

 

The Gospel is a doctrinal manifestation of all that was done to save God’s people.

 

A unity in the name of God which is not centered on the truth of God, the Gospel of God, is an obscenity!!

 

 

The following quotes were taken from my book, ‘The House of God’:

 

To believe incorrectly is to believe error. To believe error is to believe in lies. To believe in lies is to believe another gospel which cannot save. To believe another gospel is to reveal a faith which is not the gift of faith which God gives to all His people so that they will believe His Gospel, and no other. To believe a false gospel is to not be saved.

 

The Gospel of God is not called ‘The Gospel of the works of man’, but the Gospel of the grace of God.

 

God saves a man with His Gospel, by His grace, through His gift of faith.

 

It is the fear of death, fear of ultimate judgment, that keeps a man in bondage to the law, and imprisoned by a desperate and insatiable craving to establish a righteousness of his own.

 

Man, by nature, is spiritually destitute! Consequently, far from being that which facilitates the salvation of a man, his every thought, every action and every gospel, is consistent with that which impedes his salvation by catering to man’s natural aversion to God’s Gospel of salvation by grace alone.

The heart, soul and purpose of the Gospel is to dispel ignorance by revealing Christ.

 

However, right, people may think they are, their conviction can never do away with, or compensate for, the consequences of the error they have unwittingly embraced.

 

Part of the process of learning the truth is to unlearn and evict the lies we have allowed to reside ‘rent free’ in our minds.

The following is from my book, ‘That’s Just Your Opinion?’:

 

Love is intolerant of false gospels for it only rejoices in Truth, with the true and only, error-free, Gospel of God (see 1 Corinthians 13:6). According to God's Word, God is intolerant of all those who believe not His Gospel. This intolerance is seen particularly in those Scriptures such as Mark 16:16 which says, "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned". God's intolerance is based on His Holiness and Justice. Man's warped idea of love which, at all costs, places people first, prevents the Truth of God from having the pre-eminence in their lives. Loving our fellow man, being tolerant etc., IS NOT the pre-eminent love! The pre-eminent love is loving God with all your being. Loving God is loving His Truth, His true Gospel and His true Son Who is Truth! To Love God is to declare His Gospel to every creature and not to conceal it. Being tolerant, avoiding the issue, of a person's believing a false gospel IS NOT LOVE!! It in no way qualifies as an act of godly love but is rather a display of apathy, an actual suppression of love, in disguise. For those who pride themselves on their tolerance of the error in others, and yet who claim to believe the Gospel of God, their silence toward error can only be interpreted as a muted form of approval.                                                       ■

Thank you again for your prayers and support. “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the Word of His Grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” (Acts 20:32).
